The Importance of Being Earnest - casts local actor - Jack Wynters

OPENS:
25th January 2013

It’s 1895, London, and two young bachelors attempt to reinvent themselves in order to impress the families of the young ladies they hope to marry. Innocent deception, love affairs, overbearing aunts, and a slight confusion of names collide amid a flurry of mistaken identities, witty banter and cucumber sandwiches.

Subtitled “A Trivial Play for Serious People” Wilde’s satire captures the shallow foolishness of giddy lovers, snobs and social climbers with sophistication and priceless dialogue.
