Last
evening, elegance swept through the halls of Rossignol Centre, of Liverpool NS,
that will long be remembered by those who attended. The audience was entertained by Jack Wynters’
recital of Robert Service’s most popular poetry, in the magnificent English
Room; Judy Cleveland in lovely music and song in the Rossignol Hall and, lastly
but not least, Bobby Curtola in the Art Gallery hosting the Fashion Show; where
ladies presented an amazing line of clothing from Debbie Noel’s fashion shop,
Liverpool. The evening closed with Bobby Curtola singing a number of his ‘gold
record’ songs; songs to sing along with or just drift along on a wave of memories.
Rossignol
Cultural Centre has taken on new life with its new director, Linda Jackson, and
this event is just the first of many that will open the Centre to events surrounding
and promoting arts and culture.
